What a great morning on our Tour de Byron 🙂 through the beautiful Hinterland. Expertly led by Chris and enthusiastically supported by Alice...a great team. There were nine of us from teenagers to adults in their 50s and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Strongly recommend this unique experience cycling through the picturesque Byron Hinterland.

Thanks to Chris and the Lifecycles team for an incredible guided bike ride (a birthday gift from my wife)! Chris is an excellent guide and tailors every aspect of the ride to your skill and fitness level, so you're sure to have a great time exploring the back roads of Byron. The bike (provided as part of the tour) was a beaut to ride and Chris was sure to prep me with enough nutritional snacks to ensure I had plenty of gas in the tank. Chris is a great communicator during the ride and his signals and nice and clear, helping you safely navigate past hazards along the way. This is a great local company with a deep love and passion for cycling. Loved every second of the ride - thank you!

Great service from Chris, really easy to deal with and delivery/drop-off worked well. We hired a couple of e-bikes which was a great way to see Byron. The bikes were well presented and had more than enough power for the day's ride including getting us up the hill to the lighthouse.

We had a fabulous time! We are traveling from out of the country and wanted to get a decent length bike ride during our trip to be able see the area. Chris has great trek bikes and took us through the beautiful countryside and towns and through some rollers. Highly recommend!

Chris took us on a great ride - around 30km seeing the hills and sights over Byron and the surrounds. Chris is friendly and knowledgeable, meeting us at our hotel and a great workout! Totally worth a few hours!

Could not recommend Lifecycles more. I hired a cruiser to get around Byron whilst visiting for work and was really happy with the price. Chris was so lovely and accomodating - delivering and picking up the bike straight from my accomodation whenever suited me. So convenient!Plus, I loved the bike itself. It really is the best way to get around Byron!

Fantastic experience! We hired three e-bikes and Chris delivered them within 30 minutes. They were well-maintained and super speedy bikes with baskets, locks and helmets included. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris. The bikes have lights so we ride them at night too. Great way to get around and such a fun 48 hrs!

We had a wonderful experience with Lifecycles Travel. Chris and Connor were very friendly and helpful in teaching us skills to be safe and confident in riding on the road. Chris is an amazing teacher and taught us the basics of riding properly step by step. We went from not cycling in a couple of years to a 20km guided road ride. Watching the beautiful scenery by the coast and through the hinterland was really special. Chris and Connor were lovely to chat to and have coffee with after our rides. They are not only passionate about cycling but also the Byron Bay area and we appreciated the care they took in helping teach people like ourselves trying to get into cycling. Hope to be back one day and will recommend them to our friends.

Great ride with very nice Alice and Chris out of Clunes, 30 mins drive from Byron. Quality Trek bikes in superb condition supplied. They will provide riding advice plus design your ride in terms of speed and length so suitable for all levels of cyclist from beginners to expert. Pretty country roads thorough farms, orchards and forests with very little traffic. Ideal way to enjoy the pretty hinterland while getting some exercise. Good value given what is supplied. Have booked and looking forward to more rides. If not clear from above: highly recommended!

I’ve just returned from Bryon Bay after spending a magical 5 days with Chris and Alice riding in the picturesque hinterlands and it was glorious. For Chris and Alice nothing is too much trouble as their key goal is to ensure your tour experience will be one to remember. We just had the most unbelievable weekend with these guys. I am not a bike rider but I felt safe and motivated the whole time. Thank you Alice for helping me learn the gears and Chris for directing and stopping cars in their tracks. The legs got a real work out and the views were spectacular. Lunch was definitely earned.
